JUDIE SHARPE is a retired vocal music teacher from Michigan. She received the Director Emeritus award from the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA). She is a lifelong piano/organ teacher, who trained many state champions. She was an organist/choir director in Michigan for 35 years, and also directed a men's barbershop chorus. She has held a Regional position in Region 2, as Regional Coordinator for Young Women In Harmony (YWIH). Judie has been a member of Sweet Adelines International (SAI) since 1999, and is an International chorus medalist. She was the director of the International YWIH Quartet Champions (Sandstone) in 2000, and received the SAI/MENC award in 2002. |
