FAQ

Do I need to read music?  No, reading music is not required but a good ear for music and ability to sing independently are helpful, and learning tools, such as part recordings and videos are provided.

How do I know what part I sing? Our director or one of our musical leaders will help you determine your best fit.

Do I have to audition in front of the whole chorus to become a member? NO!  If you decide you would like to become a member, you will be asked to sing your part for our director with an audition quartet.

Questions??? Call Wendy Foster at 360-683-0141

GUEST NIGHTS:

Guests are always welcome, but every few months we have special guest nights to introduce barbershop to new friends. This photo is from Friends and Family night in April 2017, right before we took part in Region 13 contest.

A few pictures from last years guest night, our  former director Mike Menefee is joined by three of our members (Nancy Davis, Stepanie Buehler, and Connie Alward) in a fun quartet called Carp Hooligans. That's Mike in the cute bonnet. We still haven't figured it out, but it was funny.

And lots of welcome guests:

Many of our members have been part of the Sweet  Adelines organization for many years. Region 13 recently horored a few that were having "landmark" anniversaries.

Pictured below with our former Director Mike Menefee (from left):

Judie Lawson (10 years), Mike, Pat Witt (35 years) and Connie Alward

(35 years). Pat was in her twenties and Connie a young teen when they first joined.

Connie is also our director.
